American Indian Carved-Stoned Design

Is this an American Indian carved-stoned design? This is a piece of soft stone I found amid many hard stones worn smooth on my Lake Michigan beach. Its unsymmetrical lines give it the appearance of being handmade, but who really knows where it came from? Copyright, Disclaimer, Bibliography

Native American Tool

The original human residents of the Great Lakes region carved tools from basalt and other hard rocks. Could this be one of them? Glacier action on this piece of basalt does not adequately explain how it fits into a human hand to become a scraper. Copyright, Disclaimer, Bibliography
